Assistance Dogs/Toilet Harness
Assistance Dogs/Toilet Harness
Toilet harnesses – Male & Female dogs 2 sizes. Black Available only.
How to use:
A toilet harness is used to catch your dog’s stools in a bag. The toilet harness strap is clipped around your dog’s hips, with a bag attached by one of its handles to a snaphook under the belly, and the other handle slides carefully over the tail and hooked to two metal jean buttons at the dog's back.
A special magnetic Fidlock buckle is used as this automatically locks into place without the need to see manually where to insert the buckle.
Once your dog has finished toileting, the bag is unhooked by the metal buttons on their back, the handle of the poo bag held with one hand, while the plastic buckle is unclipped and the bag carefully slid off the dog's tail.
These toileting harnesses were originally designed for visually impaired, or low vision/ impairment people, but can also be helpful for those with disabilities who cannot bend over very far to pick up their dogs droppings.
